![]() I just wanted to post this here quickly so others can plan accordingly. I've gotten a lot of good information on Trip Advisor, but this was not a good tip! But if this is the most expensive mistake that happens on our trip, I will be very happy. I hated to leave our keys with them and pay them $12 a day for 2 weeks, but it was still cheaper than other parking places. It is also near Highway 99, the main highway connecting Vancouver to the southern suburbs.River Rock Casino Resort has a total of 396 guest rooms with lavish all-suites 4 Diamond situated on the river with a 144-berth marina. The girl at the Hotel desk was really nice to check on the Internet for long term parking (we will be away for 2 weeks), but she didn't find anything cheaper than their valet parking, which she could arrange for us only because we had a reservation for a hotel stay post cruise. The casino is about 5 minutes from Vancouver International Airport, on Richmond's Sea Island. I learned that parking at the River Rock is indeed $2.50, but it needs to be validated every day, so it doesn't work if you are away. We are leaving on our cruise this afternoon and got into Vancouver yesterday and I dropped off my parents and husband at our downtown hotel and went to park the car. We made our plans based on this tip and made reservations at the River Rock post cruise. ![]() I thought I would post this as a new topic, because I had read in several places on this forum that you could park during a cruise very cheaply at the River Rock casino. ![]()
